Krisha Foundation was happy to conduct a Financial Literacy Awareness Program at Mumbai for the employees of Wellness Forever on the 22nd of July 2019 with the objective to create awareness & educate the working professionals on the basics of investment, difference between savings & investment, power of compounding, inflation, benefit of starting early, types of investments to name a few.

The Objective of the program was to inculcate among the masses a habit of planning and investing safely by understanding their financial needs.

The following are the details of participation at the event.
The event was very well received by all the participants & they thanked the volunteers and trainer for their effort. The trainer oriented the employees on the concept of Ponzi schemes and why such schemes which give you tempting returns should be avoided. Krisha Foundation was successful in creating a positive outlook towards money and money management.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks to the participants and the trainer which was then followed by refreshments to all. The employees appreciated the warm hospitality and Krisha Foundation appreciated the spirit and enthusiasm of the participants to participate in the Financial Literacy Awareness Program.

Profile of the Trainer:
Dr. Vivek R. Gupta is Assistant Professor (Banking & Finance), Faculty in-charge for Placements and Research centre coordinator at the Vidyalankar School of Information Technology, Mumbai (VSIT). He has been working as an Assistant Professor for the last 08 years at VSIT. He has also worked for Max New York Life Insurance as Sr. Manager and Birla Sunlife Insurance Company as Sr. Unit Manager.
